I got the plan activated but I am not sure if I got the $10 credit each month. I kept asking like several times if I get the $10 credit each month and he said yes. Now its updated on rogers that I got the 500mb etc. but all I see is "33.3% Value Pack Add-on Disc" under the discount section. Is that the $10 off the $30, hence 33.33?

    arrrgggg....

they messed up - put the Personal Email only version on for $30.00 by mistake instead of the 500MB version.

Now I have to wait for the morning for BlackBerry Customer Care to open!

No web browsing, no google syncing, no rss reading till morning. ;-(

the 33% is for additional services. I think the value pack is $30 dollars and some reps are mistakenly adding it to accounts.

If I did get the $10 discount, what would it say under the discount heading?

OK, so I just want to confirm before I call Rogers tomorrow morning:

I should not be charged DECF if I switch from the $30/6GB plan to the new $30 plan?

^You won't be charged for DECF.

Because the new $30 plan requires a 3yr data contract too.

So if you're switching, you're "kinda" renewing your data contract

I hope they still offer the 10$ discount.... I don't want the 20$ one if I know I can get 500mb for the same price ....

    (Calling retentions tomorrow btw.)

the credit is not feature attached. It should appear as a generic $10 monthly service fee credit (this is what I was told by a 3rd rep I spoke to). I asked her specifically how it would appear on the bill. Since it would exceed my credit=base plan limit, i decided not to add it.

hmm I'll try the $10 credit tomorrow morning. If that doesn't work I can still get $5 off since it's a value pack and I'm a student!

If I get the iPhone version of this and then pop the SIM card into my old Treo, I assume I can continue to use the data without issue / extra charge.

    True?

You can use the iPhone version in the Treo...you will have to obviously dial into voicemail using the VVM dial number, and you won't have MMS included or name display.
