I called 3 reps today and went to three rogers stores. No one knows about this.

So now that i have the code, VP30WM500 do I just call wireless billing again? or account changes department. I signed up on 3 year with htc touch on Nov 3. I got 50 in credit on my account for a screwed up port request so my first bill endin dec 3 is 12.xx. If I switch to this do I lose the credits? I am a student on the my10 pack + 25 dollar 500 MB + 15-$5 smartphone pack. So ideally I was hoping on going to the 10 dollar mega plan that we have here in winnipeg and the 30 dollar wm 500 MB value pack. Do i still get $5 off per month if I switch. If i do get the $10 dollar credit, it would be 10 dollars voice and 20$ data, which is below 35$ bucks, so does that mean I can't get the cheapest promo pricing when I switch to the e71 or touch diamond?

I switched to this from the $30/6gb plan. It's perfect for me as i have wifi access alot and i've never used more than 200mb data. I canceled my iphone VP awhile ago as my bills were a bit high, so this gives me back CID, VVM, and SMS, for the same $ as i was paying for just data. I've been a Rogers customer for 4 years and I finally feel like I'm getting a decent deal on my wireless services. Thank you Rogers, it's about time.

    My plan;
$17.50 family plan (100 WD, U/L EVE and WE)
    $30 iPhone Data Value Pack
    $47.50 +saf+tax
    $62.09/month

Does anyone have the number to the DATA department?

I currently have the EPP and $30 6GB data plan and $11 VP

Plus I have a blackberry and don't tether or stream but do use Maps on occasion.

Do you think it would be better for me to do the switch?

I'll mostly likely do it if I can get the 500MB for only $20 instead of $30.

    What does everyone think?

The first rep I called was absolutely no help at all. No BB service (on a WM device) or $10 credit available. He didn't even put me on hold to ask. I just said thanks for your help and called back

Rep#2 was extremely helpful. I was the first to call about the new VP and she put me on hold 3 different occasions to ask about the plan. She was willing to give me BB (on a WM device) and the $10 credit. But in the end the system would not let her add the $10 credit and she asked for help. Ultimately, I still have my 6gb plan and existing VP for now.

bah, tried 4 (3 times data dept and 1 time retentions) times today to get the extra $10 credit. No go, the last time the rep noted I had called in already about it. Maybe I'll try when i get my first bill. Rep said if I had a phone number of someone who got it, she could add it to my account as well.

Nice - I'm going to try again tomorrow anyway :-)

I don't know if this has been explained yet but do I lose VVM with this value pack? I had it set up today and am lacking VVM but wasn't sure if maybe the CSR just didn't put on an iPhone specific version of this plan (I'm referring to the $30 one).

damn i am so lucky i happened to call when i did yesterday because I would have been mad if I didn't get the package for $30 with the $10 credit to make it $20.

Im not trying to rub it in your faces, but luck seems to be finding me more often then not in the past 2 weeks
