The $20 VP is actually a $30 VP with a $10 credit. So essentially a $10 is applied to that VP as well.

Judging from what I'm reading here now, both VP's are $30 and both have $10 credits. WorldIRC just posted the prices with only the UL Email VP showing the credit.

I hope this is true so I can call in today to switch to the data one. I literally just signed up for the $20 Email VP yesterday.

if you have the 6gb $30 plan...

would you have to pay a data cancellation charge if you switch to this???

There is no memo of an official $10 credit on the $30 VP (making it $20).

The $20 VP from a few days ago does mention $30-$10 but for the NEW value pack w/ 500MB, it's simply stated as $30 no credit....

It's already been said, no. There is no DECF as you are still keeping data on your account.

This is quite the savings for people who are on the $15 VP + $30 6GB plan and don't data on the regular.

    Hey guys,

I've read all the posts and I'm confused.

Just to see if I have this straight:

    - Two new value packs (as stated above)
    - One is $20 and one is $30 (with 500MB)
    - Both have a $10 monthly credit as a promo, for a limited time?

I hope that's right, because for me, this would mean getting 500MB data for ~$6.50/month including taxes.

Edit: Nvm... just read WorldIRC's post. However, are people just getting lucky with this credit?

i just called in to ask about the $30 VP and the rep was surprised i even knew about it as it took him a while to find it because it was just released today!

at first he said that the $30 (+500mb data) VP was not available for use on iphone, but after checking up on it he said i could get it, but there would be no $10 credit (he said it only applied for BB).

i realize this is still new in the system so i think i'll wait a bit...anyone on an iphone have any luck switching and getting the $10 credit?

Yes, was just thinking the same thing. But for those of us who actually use our data (and not < 500MB) it is just a tease!

Can't be looking at this when you use 2-4GB per month!!
