There is no $10 credit for the $30 - 500mb vp. The UL email vp costs $30 to which they apply a $10 credit to make it $20. I don't know why they just didn't make it $20 in the first place. Lol.

He means that changing to this vp he's saving $10 over what he had before.

That's nice to know that the iphone users get VVM... SWEET!! I might have to change, this could potentially be a savings of $15 a month for me. I don't need 6GB of data.

i just added the 30 vp on and the rep manually added a ten dollar credit onto the account. I'm not sure if this means $30-$10 or if it is a separate $15 dollar bb messenger pack plus $25 500mb data minus $10 which would then come to $30.

Then the rep did it for some other reason but it's not an official credit for everyone.

YES! i was hoping rogers would finally match the bell smart 30 bundle! I'm giddy with joy, I can finally afford data (because I can remove my value pack since the features are redundant in the new data plan )

does anyone know the SOC for the $30 pack?

edit: nvm, the rep already knew about it, said every1 has been callign about it today!!! ahahaha Rogers struck a gold mine here. though he said it is for sure $30, and told me there is no $10 promotional discount on it. either way, still hell of a deal!

I just switched from the $25 500mb to the :
    $30 - 10000SMS, 10000MMS, CID, EVM, Who-Called, and 500MB (BIS, WM, or iPhone)

    I have a BB Pearl.

Even though I called the Rogers Data Support number, the first person I spoke with was a general CSR who never heard of it. She then put me on hold to look for it and came back within seconds to say that I was on a corporate account and she had to transfer me.

Of course she ended up just putting me back in the regular support system and I had to go through all the question and answer routine again. Anyway this time I just kept on saying corporate and blackberry data support and the person I ended up with knew totally about the plan.

I basically said I was interested in the new Blackberry Data Value pack. She asked if it was the $30 one. I said yes, but I heard that if you sign the 36 month term you receive a $10/month credit. She said hold on and within 1 minute came back to confirm what I heard.

So she applied the changes and according to her my account will list $30/month for the plan and there will be a $10 discount applied each month.

Anyway, not sure why others are having problems. Just try to make sure you get to a Data CSR, not a regular one.

    Good luck.

Just want to mention that this website has save me over $35/month charges just in the past 6 months with all Rogers changes and promotions. Without this site I would never of know. Rogers never planned to tell me.
    thanks!

There's no choice to renew to a 3Y term, or not, when getting the pack. The only option is 3Y.

People are having problems because they're asking for something that isn't the offer. If the $10 was in the offer, the discount would be automatic much like the BB Unl. email Value Pack.

It's surprising that so many people are getting a $10 discount on the 500MB Value Packs. It really shows how reps are easily confused about two similar plans and apply discounts (or in other cases, policies) to the non-eligible plans.

Does the $10 credit count against your monthly plan or is it linked to the value pack itself. I have a $15 credit on my monthly plan so if I add this value pack I don't have room for another $10 in credits.

Which would mean to get the 500mb plan it would cost me $30 instead of $20.
