    Thanks,
I can tell you about the speaker quality. I use the speaker almost daily and one of the questions i use to ask on the other end is, 'does it sound like your on speaker?' - they always say no

in the past with my home phone/cheapo cell phone aka my old motorola v300 you can hear the background sounds/echo if someone or myself was on speaker, with the blackberry, you dont get that. I think it has to do with the noise cancellation technology they have.

Very tempting to get the Javelin instead of the Bold, just the whole 3G issue. I'm not a very heavy browser, I only really do on my phone when I need to find out movie times, or a phone number, etc. EDGE should be pretty good for that, shouldn't it?

This is exactly how I use the BB browser and EDGE (movie showtimes, weather, a bit of news). I've always found it more than fast enough.

Not that big of a change from the 8310

    8900 - 109 x 60 x 13.5 mm
    8310 - 107 x 60 x 15.5 mm

I ran over my curve with my car a while ago
