Funny thing is one girl at my work did drop hers in the toilet (not on purpose) and the IT department told her to bake it in the oven. She followed the instructions and it still worked for another year after that!

The guy was joking... and you should probably do some research on HSPA / HSDPA / HSUPA first ... it isn't 3G, it is 3.5G.

So... "know ur shizz before u speak"

    Wirelessly posted (Brian's Crackberry: BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.190 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

I swear. Internal bulletins should reword. Don't state available for order if it isn't!

I don't believe it is available... If it was, you all know that Treatz would have posted a Launch Thread... Until then I think it is bull...

Well apparently someone at Head Office thought otherwise when they were writing the memo.

I might go with the 8320. I have to get something this year and my company is against the bold. I hold out till before Xmas, but I'm thinking initial reports were correct.... we won't see it at Rogers until Q1 next year.

called and told it's available, just not for retentions.

i got a bold on retentions last week, but i haven't used it other than to test the browser, which i found kind of slow.

she said i can return the bold and get the curve. she said retentions may not have it for about a week.

that said, anyone want to buy a bold?
    ha!

I just called in the employee line...never heard of the 8900 or the javelin.

I have to call back next week to change my family plan anyway, hopefully by wed they'll have it in the system.

I haven't found a single Rogers rep (whether it be through CS or in store) that can give me any information regarding the availability or pricing of the 8900, let alone actually get my hands on one.

Not sure why the reps are telling you it's available, it's definitely not!
