so i went in today to the rogers, my friend is the one of the top 10 sellers within canada.
She always knows when the new phones are coming out and all of that.
When i went to talk to her about the javelin she said forget about it.
wait for the "MAGNUM".
she said its from RIM and its going to be half touchscreen with a full qwerty.
she also said its coming out soon and she always has good sources for this stuff

Lol. If it ever comes it won't release till next summer I'm sure. You can really hold out that long?
You can't blame Rogers for this crazy launch tbh. This was an internal soft launch. It wasn't supposed to be launched to the masses. So therefore, reps are not fully informed because no one is supposed to be asking for it.
That being said, Rogers is naive to post a soft launch and not realizing that it'll be leaked.
I've called in several times, and come across several reps that knew what I was talking about, but said they couldn't order it yet... I'm sure this upcoming week will shed a lot of light on what's going on.

Lol, sorry, but reps are clearly uninformed.
If it had in fact launched, it COULD be ordered. If you can't order the product, it hasn't launched, it's that simple.
What we know as a fact is the phone has been indeed launched (soft launch). Period.
I mean, we have a lot of people here that proved they are in the loop with what is going on at Rogers. They have provided reliable info in the past. All these people are not denying it was launched. They are actually confirming it, specifying it was a "soft launch". This was supposed to be internal to Rogers. Not available for the masses yet. Somehow (duh!) the news was leaked, and everybody and their mother are *****ing about how this phone is not available for order and how Rogers screwed it up again. Grow up! Read between the lines. The phone WAS NOT supposed to be available yet. It will be available in the near future. When that will happen, I am sure Treatz or one of the other reliable sources will post the details (as always).
