I've heard rumors of rogers dropping their system access fee in Q1 of 2009, do you think it'd be better to wait it out?

I've heard this too, but I wonder what stipulations come with it.

3 years, min $45 per month, etc. I'm sure they won't just drop it like that

Guys, quit wasting your time, it is NOT OUT!
I love how you say this without knowing anything about me or the people I know who have ordered the device.

If the most reputable Rogers people on this forum are acknowledging that this phone has been soft launched then I'd say it's been soft launched. I'd say more but I can't.

People getting mad at each other and staying on the phone with CS for hours all over a phone that isn't even really that impressive

    This thread makes me sad

a curve on steroids is an impressive phone. smaller than bold, better keyboard, wifi and gps, those are the features that i would want on a curve, not to mention better battery life

While the stand-by time of the 8900 is no doubt longer than that of the Bold's, the 8900 is rated at 4 hours of talk time while the 9000 is rated at 5.

Personally I don't think the keyboard is any better than the bold. Bold is the best keyboard I've used.

Update: The customer service rep that I spoke to said that a notice came out late on Friday that said the phone is now with Rogers but he said it's not on their inventory to be ordered. I'm still waiting for my 8320 to be cancelled. He told me to try back Wednesday.

    hmm.. 8900 or the bold

i cant decide which i want.

do you guys who have the bold find it too large?

are the qwerty buttons on the curve too small?

how important is 3g going to be since I will use whatever blackberry i get for the next 3 years.

thanks for your help! feel free to PM me if you dont want to post on here.

called about 30 mins ago. the phone details are in the system, it's now a supported device by tech but no stock in the catalog. the rep suggested to 'keep checking the website'. however, if this is a soft launch, it doesn't sound like it will be up soon.

Well I can say it hasn't been soft launched, it's a mistake, simple as that... I can't say more either...

Not saying the other members aren't reputable, but considering where I work, I can provide a little more accurate info than others on the forum.
