All of the above. And it might just be me, but I think the Curve 8900 looks better than the Bold.

QoB... I have a curve now and I've put it through hell and back and its still solid with now creeks or groans. The bold on the other hand... Well, we've all seen pics of what happens to them as soon as they touch the ground. LOL.

^ True that, my curve has hit pavement so many times and lives through it each time a little scratch here and nick there but still solid and working fine

sounds good to me. ive been leaning towards the javelin, but need to decide if 3G is for me or not. i read a couple reviews from people who have seen the 8900 and they said it has a thin/flimsy back that gives a bit when typing. not sure how much to believe.

I just spoke to customer relations and they told me that I should call back next Monday regarding the Javelin.

I hear the chrome bezel scratches REALLY easily.

The 3G issue comes up a lot here, but I'm wondering how much faster a BlackBerry with 3G is than one with Edge.

I mean the Blackberry server compression is top notch, so I've always found Edge to better on the BB than other phones I've tried. I suppose if you're on streaming radio/video all day it helps.

So this is what i've heard and i've told others this but does anyone know the specifics on this?

This "compression." when browsing on the device - 3G vs. Edge on BB - would there be that noticable of a difference?

I agree. I don't know how ppl think that the keyboard is any better on the 8900 especially when they haven't even tried it.
