Been using rltoday/ultimatelaunch together for a while now (started with the i760, now on the Omnia), but they're a little difficult to maintain. Thinking about going to SPB (which I used to use many years ago on a Toshiba PocketPC).

i installed the PHM editor on mine. it works great. you have to select Pocket PC 2002,2003 (ARM/PXA) from the dropdown, then copy that file to your phone and run the cab file there.

more info on it here: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/1...6-wm5-and-wm6/

There is a thread over at modaco detailing how one can install HTC's TouchFlo 2D:

    http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-o...lo-2d-on-i900/

I've done this, as have a few other people here on HoFo, and it's completely amazing! There are two downsides to this. The first is that the main TF2D screens don't work in landscape mode. The second is that the only way to remove TF2D is a hard reset.

    .
so does TF2D just run over the samsung ui, or does it replace it..?
so like is samung ui running in background still,
which would mean both are running and useing more battery life or what??
    mmmm mmmm motha f**ka

    Neither.

TF2D, like Samsung UI, are both applications running on top of Windows Mobile. You have to deactivate one inorder to use the other. Both can't be active at the same time.

Battery life, no differences. Only difference is how much space it takes up in RAM.

Once you have both installed, you can still toggle between them through the "TODAY" setting

Screen size is not an issue (although I'm not exactly sure what you're asking there). There is no way to change the background or the icons for Winterface, although there were some threads on Modaco about editing the program settings. I never delved into it, as I like the default look of Winterface.

Did you use the TF2D files from Modaco and move the XML file into \Windows?
