    New Japanese AWS Cards?

Hm. New press release from the Japanese AWS provider eMobile:

    http://www.emobile.jp/cgi-bin/press.cgi?id=590

Not sure if they'll work stateside with an American SIM for T-Mobile, but if you are able to land yourself a used D03HW in Akihabara, please do let me know.

BTW, did Option ever release their Quadband capable GT Express 401 card? It was announced back at Mobile World Congress 2008...

the 1700 in Japan and Korea is WCDMA IX, while AWS is WCDMA IV, they're TOTALLY INCOMPATIBLE!!!!!
that's why I use WCDMA code instead

    Ah, crap. So translation:
Not going to work stateside - the only open option is to either pay some guy in Brooklyn a fairly exorbitant amount for the Option Express GT307 (which is I/II/IV/V) or wait until Option comes out with the Express 401.

    why bother with data card
with right version, you can use TM506 and tether
you need DCU-60 cable and SE PC suite or C902 modem driver
I am still at a point should I sell GT307
if I decide to sell, I may sell it for $200
