I haven't read the entire web2go thread (i've read the first 3 pages) but thought i could get a quicker answer here. I just decided to sell my G1 b/c of the terrible battery life (not trying to start a fight here...it was terrible in my experience and in my opinion). So i'm getting the Sony Ericsson t700 b/c it supposedly has 9.5 hours of talk time.
My question: Do i just call up CS and tell them about the change and then i go on a new data plan? I talked to a CSR last night and she said b/c it's not a smart phone i could do this web2go + unlimited texts for $20. the web2go is capped at 100mb and you get to go $15 over without being charged or something. She said i could do it online on my account but i looked today and don't see the options even when i switch my phone to the SE t610 (closest phone t-mobile has).
Also, how much are the unlimited web2go data plans for phones like the Dash? should i try to get one of those? 100mb doesn't seem very high even though i'll only be checking email and maybe a random wiki search. (no youtube, etc) Your help is appreciated.

Told you not to let go of that $5.99 T-zones That plan is gone you cannot get it back. The only unlimited plans now are $25 and up. Sorry you missed that train like 2-3 weeks ago.
Web2Go: after you leave your sim chip out of the G1 for about a week (to clear system), then log into mytmobile, change your phone to something like a cheap Nokia or Samsung, ex: Nokia 6133, and add the web2go plan of your choice.
Or put your sim in a cheap phone and add it via T-zones/Web2Go interphase. Just hit the "myaccount" tab it should be up there.

Set your phone to an SE TM506 or T-Mobile Shadow then you could add the Web2Go plan. You should have kept the $5.99 T-zones plan like I did.
