Technically, unlimited. 5 gig cap is there though.
No longer a VZW employee, but still a good information source.

With all that money you save monthly with your Sprint plan, you should be able to order Hooked On Phonics - remember, the phone number to order this is 1-800-ABCDEFG.

Both BIS and BES should have essentially unlimited data use. Some people say there's a 5GB/mo cap, others say it's unlimited... Assuming it is 5GB/mo, that's still a crapload of data to use in a month on a phone.

As far as I figured you can have 5GB data usage per month with $29.99 data plan. And I don't think you'll get charge if you pass that 5GB I should just get very slower than usual. Again this is what I have figured.

my unlimited is $29.99 and the 5gb is for the computer stuff, not the phones

I agree with the buckeye's fan The 5GB cap is for tethered use. On-device use is genuinely unlimited.

They can make cell phone technologies that can download faster than my DSL line. Why can't they make a phone that I can use on my submarine?!

The same concept applies to Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. The 5GB cap on all these carriers only applies to tethered data and laptop cards. Your phone data will be truly unlimited. This is because phone data is compressed in a way that it is able to show up on a phone, thus using less data. When you tether or use a laptop card, this opens up all the ports and let you use the full function of the data connection (although AT&T HSDPA tethered phone data is limited to 1.8 MPS speeds).
