No still gotta do it the old way were you have to go into admin settings an that. Pain in the *** but atleast i get games, although some games dont load once im on it, for some reason or another.

If you know any site apart from mobile9 and getjar were i can get games that work fine then it will be much appriciated.

Hi all,

I have read through this thread but still go some question. Would be great if anyone can help.

- I bought my u900 few days ago.
- It's locked to Australia Operator THREE MOBILE
- It has got no chinese input method and I can't read chinese sms. They all come up as squares...
- The current firmware of the phone is U900MBHF3

My question...
Q1: Does flashing the phone mean unlocking the phone? or just changing its firmware?

Q2: I need to be able to READ and TYPE chinese (using HanYuPinYin). How do I know which firmware I should flash my U900 with?

Q3: There's nothing in http://samsungflashfiles.uni.cc/ I've tried going there a few times already and it just turns out to be a blank page. Can someone let me know which firmware i need and where I can get it?

I've been able to get a ton of great games from those sites.

Hi ya northwoodinc, got a question 4 ya . . if i flash my u900 will i need to find out the o2 pre-pay settings again so it will all work again? because i dont wanaa flash it then not be able to use it . . because the software in mine is fook'd when i slide the screen up, both screens freeze, it still operates but both displays freeze when i slide the phone open, and sometimes it just glows up a black screen and i have to keep turning it off and on again until it displays the samsung u900 message on start up? . .

Are you sure it is the firmware? The only thing you need to know is the mms, web, settings. After flash, all will work fine but you will need to re enter that info for those features to work.
