do you think the eris and droid were priced lower to entice buyers? now that the android OS is successful, they are going back to a "normal" pricing structure? so now, a droid-spec phone will be $300-350 rather than $200?

they're not gonna just start selling advanced android phones for $50 because theres a better one for $200...this ones less than the droid and caters to another audience. its just business...personal feelings and comparisons to other phones dont mean the price is gonna drop so much they dont make any money. thats not how the world works..

Here is a teaser for you guys. Got my hands on one the other day. Nice simple device if I must say so myself. However IMO the screen is to small for my likings, or maybe I'm just spoiled by the size of the Droid screen.

And before it is asked no I can not post more pics at this time. I was asked not to and this is the one they said would be fine to post atm as they don't need trouble to be stirred up.

How's the keyboard? That's the reason I don't like the Droid and would consider the Devour.

the keyboard is great! the soft qwerty sucks in most areas.opposite situation for droid.camera lacks a bit.but i kinda like the moto blur feature on a vzw device.
lots of apps work on it oo. comes with 5 home screens but gde and other market apps work great on it.

Hows the sliding feel on it? Is it a sturdy sliding mechanism? Spring loaded or like the Droid?

Slides great.spring loaded.great phone for social people.it has lots of different features than droid does.its kind of refreshing.
