Rogers has always offered 1 year contract. Fido hasn't had 1 year in a long time though!
Ok... I never remember Fido having it then...
I find it easy to know whats official.... Just go to the manufacturer's webpage. The SE webpage has been very accurate and I doubt that we will get the X1, and those Nseries phones are not listed usually meaning they won't be out. But who knows, rogers can pull out a surprise if they want! (If they really want to surprise me they should go to the fareast and do some snooping )
i work for rogers . im taking your ip and reporting this to head management. i seen those pictures at work and this is a breach of privacy. werent you trained on the rogers code of conduct?

ROFL and just how do you plan on getting his IP info. The only people who can get that from HOFO are the mods and above. The STAR line's powers are not alll reaching you know.

Actually, Rogers sent the OP and Howard a sizable cheque for the publicity generated by this thread.
Probably... Get peoples hope up, because this isn't anything official. Its a bunch of phones that Rogers is CONSIDERING. We don't even know if this is fake or not.
Does this mean the cat's out of the bag, in terms of (un)officially releasing the North American GSM version?
Same specs as before.
2100Mhz HSPA.
Rogers slides in this thread suggest 850/1900Mhz HSPA!!
Common your in Waterloo and haven't noticed the difference? Shame on you!

Rogers slides in this thread suggest 850/1900Mhz HSPA!! Comeon, you're in Waterloo and haven't noticed the difference? Shame on you!
I was actually referring more to the base specs posted by RIM of 850 MHz and 1900 MHz GSM/GPRS North America. Why would RIM go and specifically outline North American and Europe/Asia Pacific GSM frequencies, considering it does the same on their website for the more current products: Bold, Curve (both 8300 and 8900) and Pearl -- and those are currently being sold by Rogers?
I already noticed the differences in the HSPA specs when I made my last post. I had assumed that maybe there wasn't going to be a 3G version because the RIM specs contradicted what the OP had "shot". Bare minimum people want to know if a version of the Storm will come on on Rogers. The bare requirement will be functionality on North American GSM. If you ignore the "need" for 3G (because the Curve 8900 was just introduced sans 3G) and Wi-Fi, RIM specs do suggest something is there.
