I was looking forward to some new ringtones, oh well
hey i finally got mine to work... i didn't use unicdma, it worked the first time, but then it stopped working. so instead i got myself a free version of "CDMA Workshop 2.7" it's the one that worked for me. its a little different than unicdma but I'm sure you'll figure it out. but anyways using CDMA Workshop i connect my phone (under the main tab, use the right com port and everything) then click on the security tab and unlock it with the 16 digit code instead... just Google the code. then if you haven't done so before change the SPC code to 000000 and click on the "SPC" button, then "send" on the drop down menu. after its done writing disconnect your phone using the "disconnect" button under the main tab and open BitPim and it should work. Then just follow SliceofVice Tutorial from here on.

oh and by the way your anti-virus doesn't mind the program but doesn't like the crack. so just disable it while its opening, its ok after opened.

ok. you preview it on your phone or though the comp? are your files placed in the right place? and named properly? not quite sure what your problem is? I've only had the unlocking problem. i even went along in installing java games without problems, as long as your files names in your phone aren't the same and your .txt file describes where the .gc file is. as well as the .gc and the .dd files are in the same folder

the .txt file should look like this

CONF: 14 ( change this to the same as your file name)
COSH: 14 ( this one also)
    TYPE: audio/mp3
SIZE: 119415 (size of mp3 in bytes, not nessesary though but must match size in .DD file)
    FEXT:
    ENCO:
    TPID: 1
    OWNR: 1
    VRNG: 0
PATH: mmc1/jas/content/14.gc ( Change this path to where the .gc file is located.. change 14.gc
FDNM: Ringtones to the number of your .gc filename)
    SUBD:
    DOMA: 0
    SGLE: 0

    ROLE: 0

    MMSK: 0000000000
    CATE: 1
    STAT: 0
    COID:
    DURL: http://www.wam0.com/wapframework4//D...2.DD?__redir=1
NAME: (Ringtone Name) ( change this to mp3 name)
VEND: (Vender name) ( just put any name here, must match vendors name on the .dd file)
    TIME: 1261722567
    ICON:
    ISIZ: 0
    FLCK: 1
    (hard return here)

this is what your .dd file should look like

    <media xmlns="http://www.openmobilealliance.org/xmlns/dd">
    <objectURI>http://www.wam0.com/wapframework4//C_40335142/(u1xco235mwpiogqpm0gklwnz)/You_Belong_Wit.dm</objectURI>
<size>119415</size> (this should match the number in your .txt file)
    <type>audio/mp3</type>
    <type>application/vnd.oma.drm.message</type>
<vendor>(vender name)</vendor> (this should be the same as your .txt vendors name)
<name>(ringtone name)</name> ( this should match your ringtone name in the .txt file)
    <installNotifyURI>http://www.wam0.com/wapframework4//Notify/(u1xco235mwpiogqpm0gklwnz)/OMANotify.aspx?D=40335142</installNotifyURI>
    <NextURL>http://www.wam0.com/wapframework4//(u1xco235mwpiogqpm0gklwnz)/next.aspx</NextURL>
    </media>
    (hard return here)

everything else should be fine or it doesn't matter

Well, I must say that this thread has been great. I'm a Mac user, even went as far as to install Windows with boot camp to use all these wonderful tips. But I have a questions, I've had this phone for a little over a year now, and was wondering if anyone has managed to get this thing to work with iSync on the Mac? The only ways I've been able to sync any contacts was to do it manually with bluetooth, one at a time, and it sucks! So any help on the iSync front would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.
