i basically have never been able to get any java app. i even ftp'd some .jar's to my own site and tried to download them that way. It always gives the same "unknown file type" message. anyone got them to work on a 6100?

Try saving the .jad files not the .jar.

Hey Darla,
I, too, am trying to ftp some games to my own site and dl them, but I keep getting the unknown file format. I tried both .jad and .jar ... I know that at some point somebody posted the settings you need for your site so that you can dl from it, but without the search function I'm hosed on finding them again. Would you or anybody else be willing to give a step by step on how to properly upload java apps/games to a site in a manner accessible by wap?

Yes My site down untill 1 april
because the site is exceed the datalimit
i can do nothing,,
i get every month 20 GB datalimit but sometimes not enough..
if i need more i must pay 2$ for 1 GB
but i think now not needed , mayby later i will buy

why don't you set up an ftp for this... or transfer the files to the free hosting, how much stuff you got there? i just found out about this thread and i am very anxcious to get these games... anyway to get them before april 1st? please let me know...

U may or maynot be aware of this site... but you it's got quite a bit of java games for 7210... nothing facy.. just a dir with lots of zip games.... things are prince of persia and stuff are there... but it hasnt been updated for about a month so the VERY new stuff won't be there
