3G in Westernport, MD and Keyser, WV today. I can finally drive from home to DC without ever losing my data although this area is so rural I'm not sure why they bothered. I'm the only person I know here that actually uses data.
3g recently launched in Monroe county, MI.

Mountain home arkansas just got switched on.
Tappahannock, Virginia, east of Richmond, now has 3G throughout most of the town.
It's a small rural town in the Northern Neck area of Virginia that is known for its' small, country river-town background. Usually a get away spot for water lovers. Population is a little over 2,000 people.
That's good to see them hitting the small population towns..
Perry County and Ste. Genevieve County, MO could be up by the end of the year. FCC has shown plenty of tower modifications in that area, too.
Fiber backhaul for Verizon in Southern Illinois in 2013 - about time.
After my talk with the techs today... I'm betting the farm there's other places in Southern Illinois getting activated in the next 3 months other than what's on this map. What I'm about to post is imminent.

Orange County NY supposedly getting roll out in Sept now.
For a lot of people in Southern Illinois (basically anything south of I-70 except for the Metro East), 3G rural data is the only shot you have at broadband. Although, to be fair, the Southern 20 or so counties in Illinois are probably equivalent size to Mendocino County which is huge.
That's true, Mendocino County is big at 3,878 Sq.Miles in size. However, the biggest county in the nation, also in California is San Bernardino, at a whopping 20,105 Sq.Miles. All the counties in the midwest and east look small and squished together compared to the ones out west though, what's that old Roy Rogers Western Cowboy Song, "Don't fence me in"We like our space out west

In NY they seem to be hitting college towns going from west to east. I guess here in Plattsburgh (about as east as you can go in the state other than LI), we'll probably see 3g somewhere around 2012 or 2013 when everyone else is getting their 5G or 6G. Then again, maybe I shouldn't be that optimistic.![]()
iPhone 3GS 32GB, iOS 6.0.1, bb 05.13.04, "untethered"
Carbondale and Marion, IL, is now live, basically everything on the blue map I posted. I added that in the national 3G maps thread but unfortunately the thread kind of got sidetracked. AT&T has really done good there in enhancing coverage and network speeds, I will give them credit for getting it right.
