This is a ray of hope for us WM T-Mobile users. Hopefully, T-Mobile will get their act together and get a 3G WM device of their own. If the specs are all true and the ROM is stable, this phone will be a success. I think Pharos will gain a nice chunk of business from fogotten WM users on t-Mobile.
it's not really WM related
but SE will introduce unlocked 3G phones with WCDMA IV, after massive good sales of TM506
it's a shame T-Mobile only offers WM phone without 3G, what a shame!!!![]()

it is sopposed that shame for t-mobile choosing wrong band for 3G.Originally Posted by Scottish Skyeandce

Isn't the Wing 2 supposed to be 3G?

I don't think T-Mobile has any 3G capable WM phones for Q1/Q2 of '09.
The Wing 2 I believe fell into the same category as the Sony X1. It was originally announced or printed that it carried the 1700mhz band and was originally going to be the first phone that could be used with Tmo 3g but went it was finally produced the band was left out and the phone went to ATT.
So to clarify the Wing 2 never came to production with the 1700mhz band.....we would probably all have one prior to the G1 if it did.
1700mhz is dead band for all!Originally Posted by shackk

T-mobile choose wrong band to use 3G
T-Mobile has no choice for its 3G band since there isn't any 850/1900 spectrum left for sale. T-Mobile barely has enough 1900Mhz to cover its 2G network.Originally Posted by CoolPhone

AWS is the only option offered by FCC, get it or nothing
it's even a standard band for CDMA, 3G, and 4G (T-Mobile has 2 blocks in most of the markets, one is for 3G, another is reserved for 4G)
ATT and VZW have 700 and AWS for 4G
soon band IV (AWS) will be widely used in American continent, for 3G and 4G
(this is the reason why dumbed a troll into ignore list...)
Does anyone know if this device has a stylus, or is it finger-touch only? I can't tell from the pictures at...
