I don't know any L&R reps personally and i only know one sales person personally and nobody seems to know. Its not even like they are pretending to not know its like i speaking french. Although, the lady i talked to today said that its now on my account that i am waiting for "specific model of BBerry"

Seriously though, I get what you're saying. I just thought that L&R would have at least the slightest of clues as to what's coming, as I'd bet that at least one of them browses HoFo (I would, if I'd want to do a good job).
But do you REALLY call them once a week?

The person who claimed to preorder it probably just got one of "those" call centre reps. The kind that will promise you something just to get you off the phone because they know it will never come back to them and a shorter average call time looks better on their statistics.
If you have worked in a call centre you would know how the managers pressure you to keep the call times down but then they say something completely contradictory like make sure you take good care of the customers. At the end of the month if the guy they post on the front bulletin board is the one with the lowest call times you know which property they value the most.
Is it sad how familiar i am with the feeling of seeing "that guy" on the billboard and knowing your next called will be someone he pissed off...
In my experiences, L&R reps don't have much in the way of inside info on new devices. There's always the exception to the rule, but you'll usually get firm release dates any info here before you will with a TELUS rep.

Personally I like getting the guy who promises anything but never writes it in the notes or applies it to the account. I wish more phones had the ability to record calls (without third party software). I remember my Moto V60 (I think that was the model #) had the feature but since then none of my phones have had it. There's been a few times when they didn't make proper notes (or they couldn't find them) and it would have really helped if I was able to play the call back to them.

I know what you mean! being able to tape the calls would be FANTASTIC! not like the ever promise me anything anyway
and yes i do call once a week. The compulsion to call them is worse than the compulsion to check hofo every hour

On the bell spec sheet the battery said TBD which to me is weird but thats all i know so far! the only thing i could tell ya is that its using micro usb instead of mini.
