I really hope it isn't $649 when it debuts, that's so expensive for a device that is far from revolutionary. I've had the Storm since launch, but it's time I switched to something with a more usable keyboard and a touch less memory issues.
I know I'm going to purchase this the day it comes out for whatever price it is, but for the first time I'm not really *excited* about getting a new phone, since I know I'm going to miss having a huge touchscreen. I just hope we can somehow theme the device the same day it's released, that would at least make it a bit more tolerable. (=
Also does anybody know the physical screen size compared to the 8900? I know they're the same resolution, but I hope it's a good bit larger than the 8900 which I find too small.
It should come in under $300. In the states I believe its going to be anywhere from $199-$299, probably $249. This is definitely a good device and an upgrade to any BlackBerry device Telus offers. But if you can wait, I'd hold off and grab the Onyx when it releases. It will work on Telus soon.

onyx is the same device as the tour, unless you are really concerned with having wifi and all black device, instead of the tour which has a silver bezel

You do mean 3 year contract pricing, right? That sounds way too cheap for a smartphone, no matter how un-revolutionary it may be, at no contract pricing.

wifi is still debateable but if you wanted an all black phone, there are plenty of ways to get a customised case. In this phones case, that is personally in my future... OH and...
