called telus today and talked to L&R...they acknowledge the tour and the rep kinda hinted at canada day or early july release...dunno if thats true, but passing that along...he said that they are waiting from the manufacturer on the release date...he also threw the 150 price on a 3 year (not sure what to make of it) when i asked about renewing
i guess they priced the tour so high to make up for the storm.. still cannot believe the m2m price is higher for the tour than the storm, and the storm came out during the holidays.

Ok to help you our a bit. The 150$ means the phone will cost you $500 to renew your contract. This is whats shocking about the extremely high price tag of this phone. Again as it's been said many times, Telus L&R reps do not know the release dates of phones. The date was already confirmed in this very thread to be for July 15th. I hope I answered all of your questions.
my feeling is this....let's go back to this past December. When the storm was released on the 10th, stock was sold out so fast, that the next batch of device was 2 weeks later to fill in some of the orders for xmas presents under the tree. then 2 weeks into january it came out with more stock then when it was released and overall it got better and better. Maybe CX said the 22nd for a release date is right and it's for telus to release the device and only release a certain amount just like they did with the storm and get people hyped up. they might drop a small batch of units at the dealers to sell them, and then do a full force deployment of the device on july 15th. Doesn't anyone remember what happened 6 months ago??
