Sorry for the miscommunication!! The SNAP plan is out now company-wide. Rates start as low ad $29.99-$49.99. The $49.99 plan has everything unlimited except for roaming fees.
What are the real speeds on the data cards/fixed wireless units? I currently have Alltel that gets 1.5 on a good day, but many evenings drags at around 200k.Originally Posted by Frasch

All of these plans have an additional $12.00 in tax per month. You pay this once per month, so its set up like a post-paid plan. For all the plans except SNAP 1 you can add roaming to the phone. So if you travel out side of the local area you will be covered. What ever you dont use in roaming will carry over to next months bill.
Roaming Fees Include:
$.35/min
send/receive txt message $.20/message
Call Mexico to mobile phone - $.35/min and Landline phone - $.10/min
Hope this helps!
Is it just the Ericsson W35 that also acts as a WiFi router for the Fixed plan? And what kind of speeds would I expect internet wise as of now on that device?
TIA
Correct the W35 unit is the only unit that we have now that acts as a router. That unit will pull speeds up too 512K and average about 256K right now. In January that will change and will be at least 1.5 mbps all day long. My iphone pulls up to 500k - 1.5 mbps all day as of now.
So, will there be a different unit by January, or will that be the go-to unit for home internet?Originally Posted by Frasch
I figured the network was getting an overhaul, I just wondered if there would be a new device out by January besides that one.

I just saw an ad for the LG Cookie from Viaero. Neat phone, but the specs I've seen show it only handles EDGE. Is there a chance you'll get in a version that's 3G (like the KC910 Renoir)?
More than likely not. What we would probably do is once we get the phone in and the network changes speeds then we would send updates to the phone to update the network settings. From there we would be able to see if would handle the new network speeds or if it still has to use the EDGE speeds.
Do you have anything on that phone, like a model #, pricing, etc? I don't see it on the website yet. It appears a google search shows they did upgrade that phone for 3G, it just depends on how you spell cookie in a google search.Originally Posted by Frasch
