Actually it appears to be working now. I was also having trouble with Youtube, but after changing the "streaming url" setting under the video player, I'm now able to view youtube videos and I'm also receiving the messages sent to both 1myphonenumber@mmsviaero.com and 1myphonenumber@viaerosms.com.
Do you (or anyone else here) happen to know anything about using MSN Messenger(Windows Live) with Viaero? I've set up my messenger so when people send me messages when I'm not on my computer, they go to my phone as a text message. But when I try to reply to these messages, I get a message back that says "Viaero Interactive SMS Server: Unknown Command". I'm wondering if the option to send a reply to these particular messages isn't supported by Viaero...
Another option if you're willing to pay the $25 one time fee is to get Trillian Astra. You can use that from your mobile browser and will allow you to use all of your IM apps in one place. It also makes it so you can use multiple computers and still access the same contacts and IM connections.
I sent Viaero an email, and I got a reply saying that they don't support and currently don't have any plans to support "short-code SMS", which is why I'm not able to send replies to these SMS messages that I get from my msn/windows live contacts.
I guess I'll just use palringo if I need to reply to any of these messages that I get. But anyway, I just thought I'd post Viaero's response in case it might help or be of interest to anyone else.
I believe they are the same towers. If they were not the same towers, the waiting period would be a lot longer for them to build the towers. I thought it would have been sooner as well, but the weather has not been the greatest so far. Im sure that delayed it a little bit
So, is March still looking possible, or did this lousy winter we're having play havok with the timelines again? (I really hate winter)
Plan 1

So if you wanted unlimited data, sms/mms, email with blackberry you would have to get a voice plan then the 39.99 blackberry data. Thats how it was explained to me anyhow.
as it was explained to me was they do have unlimited data, but some blackberry apps (such as BB messanger) will count as a SMS so that will eat up those real quick if you're not careful.
