... there will be a number pad displayed on the bottom portion of the phone when opened to call and when opened to text there will be letters displayed. Keys will be I BELIEVE white with black lettering...
that is correct. the buttons are not touch sensitive. imagine a grid of a buttons that change function depending on what mode you are in. for example, you open the flip normally and it's numbers... if you open the flip landscape it's letters... all on the same keys.
i believe the u750 is quite a bit bigger than the u740.

No, not the bottom portion of the phone. *Every* button is dynamic. For example, if you are in landscape mode, the buttons that are normally 1, 2, and 3, the lettering on the keys actually change to Y, H, and B.

I would imagine it it just like this. I cant believe this is coming out. I had this EXACT idea like years ago. Im excited about it though. Im just a little nervous that no one has very much information about it yet though. Woshi, Im assuming you may have seen this phone? Do you know (other than the buttons) if there are any major cosmetic differences from the 740?
Sort of like that, but not in color. And the buttons stay 'lettered' or 'numbered' even when the phone is off.
What do you mean by that? Do you mean they are always there and depending on which way the phone opens, either the letters or numbers lights up? That would be a disappointment if you could see both the letters and numbers all the time. I had thought that they were more of a "projector" like buttons?

No, the button actually changes depending on what mode it's in, sort of like the LED buttons you see above. However it holds the image even without a battery, the keypad can still be seen when the phone is off.
Think of it this way: there is a grid of roughly 40 keys. Each button is kind of like it's own Amazon Kindle screen, so the button can change function depending on what mode you are in. For example, when you open the flip normally, the key that would have said "SPACE" in landscape mode is a special key that shows an envelope on it that is a shortcut to your text message inbox.
