Unlocked Sidekick Deletes Everything On Reboot

Is there any way to keep my unlocked sidekick 3 from deleting all my contacts, settings, calendar events, etc when it is turned off?

It's quite a pain in the butt when the battery dies and I suddently loose my work schedule and have the date reset to 1999.

Is there any way around this pleaseee?

    sorry

Sorry there isn't a way to stop it from doing that as far as I know. There designed to be used specificly with a t-mobile sidekick data plan. the flash memory resets every time you turn the phone off and when it comes back on it looks for your information thats on the t-mobile danger server. and if your using it on a differant carrier it wont connect to the tmobile danger server because tmobile is the only company that offers a connection to it.

yup thats why the Hiptop is only good if your provider offers an unlimited hiptop option, otherwise its not worth it
