Go to the bottom left corner of the page and you can add to cart there.
I found one thing I do not like about the Femtocell. If you go beyond the range of it and come back, you have to get within 15 feet of it to re-register with it. Once it is linked up, you can move around as far as you want within it's range. It is a small issue though. The range is better than what I expected, however. I went about 100 feet away from it and still held the link. My yard is covered as well as my basement. I was expecting only 40'X40' (5000 Sq. Feet) but it is better.
well, after reading the post #15, I called in, and you do get your employee discount on this, it is an accessory, so I got my 25% off, I ordered it and ready to go when it gets here. It also has free shipping.
Total was $187.49 plus tax.
What number did you call in? I called 611 and they said that I didnt show the 25% discount even though I have it on my line.Originally Posted by DOTsucks

Try again. I have heard that there is different discounts for different employees, maybe your discount does not cover this...I would keep trying.

I have been told there is actually a $50 mail in rebate if your plan is over $79.

When I bought mine, I specifically asked about my discount and/or mail in rebate and they said no to both. They said the system will automatically show any discounts and none came up. If you eventually get a discount and mail in rebate, please post on here and I will call in and see if they will credit my account.
Another interesting note (if anyone cares) is that when I browse the net the WAN light on the Femtocell blinks (showing activity) as pages load on my computer. I find that strange.... It is as if data is going through the unit. It blinks in tandem with my router data activity. Maybe Verizon is watching my web habits through the Femtocell.... *GASP*
I just ordered one. Kinda expensive, but worth it. No more feeling like smashing my phone lol![]()
Is the Cellular Antenna replaceable? i.e. some kind of screw on type of antenna?
If so is it a TNC or what type of connector?
I know the GPS antenna can be/external....
Sig Removed (might be misconstrued as advertising)
Well, I just ordered one.
I must say I'm very disappointed in the way Verizon put it together. Sprint had mutiple plans and price points for it, Verizon just has one overpriced box and no unlimited option or anything like that to choose with it. I hope it doesn't sell like they want it to and they're forced to make plans and better pricing on it.

if you were 100 ft away from it, that would be 10,000 sq/ft. which is kinda impressive. It probably doesn't re-connect to the femtocell after leaving it's range cause it has signal from a real cell tower, and the only way it probably switches back to femtocell is when the signal from real cell tower drops below some thresh hold, then it searches for new signal. just a guess.
Won't be an issue for me, cause I hate having to go outside in the freezing cold to talk on my crappy phone. and when I try to talk from within my apartment with 0/1 bars of 1X, it drops after like 2 mins every time. Hopefully those days are over![]()
