After five phone calls to T-Mo (starting in Retentions, then to regular Customer Care, then finally to Tech Support), they basically said I'm SOL and I need the $20 plan.
Try setting APN to Internet2.voicestream.com with the $10 web2go/phones 1st web

The notification light and trackball specifically is one reason I love the nexus. I use it all the time.

Need help! Whats the step by step breakdown I need to get the web2go internet working on the Nexus, starting from ordering the sim cards from the website. Do I have to activate the sim using a dumb phone, or can i activate the sim using the nexus and change the APN? Reason i am asking this is because I was on verizon and dont have old unlocked gsm phones laying around. Can i just go to the user settings on the tmobile site and pick the type of phone i have, and just select a dumbphone?

Well The trackpad also has notification light. The trackball, it was out of date navigation method even when the N1 initially launched and now it really dates it in my opinion. I mean knowone, not even BB is using the ol' trackball anymore.

Props to you. It was set to epc.tmobile.com. I'll probably re-up with the G2 once they get all of the bugs ironed out and they start offering the $10/200mb plan.

Select a dumb phone, add the web2go feature. Put sim in nexus one. In internet settings in nexus one change the APN (access point name) to internet2.voicestream.com. Restart phone. BOOM! your nexus has internet!

Thanks for the response. I guess what i wanted to know is how do I select a dumb phone? Does it mean actually using a physical dumbphone, or can i simply select that im using a dumbphone in my tmobile account settings?

Select dumbphone in account settings. Add $10 data plan to the account. Use Nexus One.

If you we're on TZones chances are you can use your phone with Web2Go phone first $10 data.
LTE has arrived. The third carrier in Las Vegas with 10x10 LTE coverage

Coverage will expand to 100 million LTE pops for the first half of 2013, with the second half of 2013 expanding to 200 million POPs covered. Release 10 LTE (2×10, 2×20) will be better performing than all other competitors.
T-Mobile USA. “This year, we’re stepping on the gas again. We are making continued coverage improvements and launching an advanced LTE network

Hmm, starting last night, having no love with 3g on epc.tmobile.com. No upgrade page, any data access attempt just times out. Switching to EDGE it looks like everything works fine.

Anyone else with 3g issues? I haven't switched to internet2 or the others, but that will be my next step.

Which plan? Web2go or T-Zones? Web2go has always been locked to internet2 I thought.....
