I just got a Samsung Nexus S i9023 for $300 brand new shipped from ebay and its working great. Was looking initially at the incredible s because of the 4g speeds but didnt go for it because its not a popular phone and doesnt have much xda support so its updates would be slow. Was then looking at the unbranded HTC Sensation but they cost just too much, around $450+. Telus SGII seems appealing but I cant even find 1 on ebay.
Happy with the i9023 and its a solid upgrade from my N1 and i only had to spend $35+ebay fees to upgrade. Being one of the first to get official ICS is what made me decide to go for the i9023

Anyone have details about T-Zones/web2go functionality with the AWS TELUS Galaxy 2?

I'm on N1 and got the upsell message today.. haven't had any problems prior and I rarely tether the phone. Where do I enter the wap.voicestream.com vpn in the settings?
\\\edit: back online with wap.voicestream.com
I spoke with a Tmobile rep and she said that I have a 2G sim card vs. a newer 3G/4G card and that I should stop by a store to get a new one. Is there any truth to this? It is my original SIM from the Sidekick 2 wayyyyyy back.
I upgraded my SIM over the summer, took a dumbphone into the T-Mobile store, told them CS said I needed a 4G SIM, (Which is true). The only difference I noticed is my phone often drops to EDGE faster in fringe areas, which isn't often because my area is blanketed with HSPA+ , so I can't complain too much. Still keep it in mind.....

I did this about a month ago. I also went in store with a dumbphone and told them CS told me to get a new sim card.
It didn't change anything, except that on my old SIM (which was probably from 2008) in low-reception areas I would sometimes drop down to G data. (that is GPRS, precursor to EDGE, and veeeeeery slow) Now with the new card it doesn't do that anymore.
I used to get dropped calls too. I don't think I've had any with the new card, but I don't talk on the phone that much so I'm not a good gauge.
If you haven't had any problems with your card, then it's really up to you if you want to change it. It did not change my tzones (I was scared of that also).
I don't think I've seen the sim favoring EDGE over 3G signal in fringe areas like Antenna says - but I haven't really paid too much attention to that.
I also have a N1.
