So if I pay 15 dollars a month for phone for 22 months that mean it subidized. Can I get out of it if I was to just purchase my own phone and give it back to tmobile.

hey voxy. it's not subsidized. they're just allowing you to pay
off your phone over the course of 22mos WITHOUT INTEREST
bc of your stellar credit. hehe

well, getting out of contract and giving back the phone are two
    different animals.
get out of contract incurs an early termination fee of an industry
leading cost of $200. which phone did you buy again? nokia 710?
the phone, they may ask you to complete pay off, and keep urself.
if you decide to give it back, they might not refund you the $$ paid.

HTC sensation hmm yah I've paid 3 months so far it probably wouldn't be worth it to give it back then.

    Hello Friends,

I have t-zones 5.99 plan along with loyalty unlimited voice plan for $49.99. I would like to downgrade to the 1000 minutes plan originally offered at $39.99. Do I have any chance to downgrade without loosing t-zones and without getting into contract?

Would adding a line help here? I have another line using Monthly4G that I can bring in and then may be I can do a family plan with t-zones on additional line?

    Appreciate your experience/help.

call LOYALTY first and let them know you'd like to add a line. ask them if you
can get the gf'd family plan Pref FT 600NW for $49.99 (2-lines).

if agent will allow migration to this plan, then ask them if you can add add'l
t-zones - since you already have it on one line. it's extremely hard to get.
bc it's extremely hard to get, you will rise up to meet the challenge, right? ;p

if you're on a roll ask them to throw in myfaves ($0), family messaging ($9.99).
visual voice mail ($0), you can add yourself after logging into my.t-mobile. i think!
that should round you out. oh, ofcourse they will as you to ext 2-yr contract.

    .
Not likely without extending your contract.

If you want to try, tell them you are looking to cancel your service if you can't downgrade to the $39.99 plan. You should be transferred to retention department. They'll be the only department that can downgrade you.

Nardva, mine looks like excatly like yours:

I think the users who are getting throttled on the $5.99 plan have the Flex Pay version. The traditional postpaid plans are exempt for some reason.

You WILL have to renew your contract. Otherwise they have no reason to offer you anything, and you'd be switching to a promo plan anyway which has always required a contract. Back in the day you could do the $39.99 600min plan with free weekends (no night min) without a contract extension.

You'll probably have a hard time getting T-Zones. If you don't use more than 5GB, the $5 preferred phone first web plan would suffice. That's fairly easy to get. You'll need a 2yr contract to start a line anyway, but for future reference, retention can add the $10 version of Web2Go without a contract. It shows up "Loyalty Phone 1st Web" vs. "Preferred Phone First Web"; exact same plan, just that the $5 version is generally only added w/ a contract renewal.
Castrol EDGE 5W-30 is my drug of choice.

    Toyota | moving forward

    Primary: Galaxy Note II & iPhone 5 (AWS): 5 lines, 1x $15 4.5GB data, 3x $2.99 T-Zones (truly unlimited 4G data), myFaves, corp discount + $10/mo loyalty discount = $88/mo tax inclusive
Secondary: iPhone 3GS: Airvoice Wireless, Samsung Fascinate & HTC Trophy: Page Plus

is the screen nicer then the astound/c7-00?
the auto-focus lens work well in low light?

The Lumia 710 is a pretty nice phone, though I wouldn't pay $350 full retail for it. Sound quality is much better than the Radar 4G (both earpiece and speakerphone), but it's all-plastic and doesn't do WiFi hotspot for the time being. Battery life is decent, touchscreen is good, and it works with T-Zones. I plan to get mine unlocked.. Can't beat the fact that it will work on just about any 3G network.

If you don't have to have Android and/or a giant touchscreen, I think the Windows phones are one of the best you can get that works with the old data plans -- at 4G speeds.

EDIT: The screen is definitely nicer and more responsive than the Astound. The camera actually has auto-focus (none of that DoF crap on the Astound) so it's already a lot better, but I haven't tested it in low light. My Galaxy S II is by far the best performer in low-light pictures.

    thanks, B. i like the lumia 710, spec-wise.
but can't justify the price at the moment.
i will keep watching it to go on sale w/o
contract extension, so i won't have to lose
my t-zones. going on eight years!! hehe
