This is very true of reps from T-mobile. They will lie off their *** to just get you to shut up. You also have to consider diff. reps will do diff. things. A rep just gave me free my faves with NO contract extension a week ago. But when I helped out other friends to get a similar deal, they required a 1 year contract. But then again, they also gave blackberry's for 30 bucks with a one year contract too (Best thing was they were on a contract longer than 1 year!). Also, I ended up getting more stuff than anticipated but I'll just keep that to myself.

But the moral of the story is that reps say things won't work but it will, they are just lying.

Although I recently joined Howard forums, for the past six months I have look at this forum to find the right cell phone and found it to be extremely helpful. I would like to find out if the $5.99 T-Zone plan is still effective. I spoke to the customer loyalty department at T-Mobile on Sunday, 12:30 a:m and was told that the code or codes used to to get the T-Zones plan are no longer applicable.. I had asked her if I could give her the code that is listed in this forum and she would not let me give her the code for the t-zone plan. Is this offer still available and/or can the code be used for the current T-Mobile web to go plan? I appreciate hearing from anybody concerning this issue.

yes it is still working as 7PM EST. I just had it added to two of my lines. Would not able to with the first rep and then she transferred me to her manager and the manager did it for me...

I was able to add T-Mobile's $5.99 T-Zone plan to my plan. I gave the customer service representative the T-Zone plan code (TZUNEL599) and he put it in his computer system and it worked. I am so happy to have this service.

Called in this morning, phone call from start to finish was 3 minutes... TZUNL599 worked.. when I gave the TZUNEL599, the rep said code invalid...

Works great on my iPhone 3g!

"TZUNL599" makes sense (TZones UNLimited for $5.99). "TZUNEL599" um, doesn't.

I'm pretty sure it was a typo on nyctechogirl's part. Unless T-Mo is bringing back Tzones exclusively for a Zune phone.

I have the $5.99 T-mobileWeb (T-zones) on my account. Is there a way to check data usage when I log into my account online? I see my minutes usage and when I click on monthly usage it only shows my minutes/myfaves/text but no data. Is there a way to track it online? Thanks

Yes, by setting the APN to epc.tmobile.com, speeds will be EDGE though
