    in case some Nexus One users aren't aware.. by default, HSUPA isn't enabled (might explain why you have lower than expected upload speeds).

    if you're rooted, you can edit two lines in build.prop to fix this. It bumped up my upload speeds from 200k to 800k, so at least for me I can confirm it did the trick.

    find these lines:
    ro.ril.hsxpa=1
    ro.ril.gprsclass=10

    and change them to:
    ro.ril.hsxpa=2
    ro.ril.gprsclass=12

    reboot your phone, and then reboot it again, and you should be good to go.

    I doubt anyone can get tzone added nowadays. You should just add the $10 web2go. just a few more bucks

    Samsung galaxy S vibrant

    What are the chances of the samsung vibrant working w/ Tzones? I know tmobile blocks all their android phones except for the Samsung Behold II.

    Yes, if someone tests the Galaxy S for T-Mobile let us know if it works with the $5.99 T-Zones plan

    Galaxy S is working with TZones. I dropped my SIM into my co-workers new Galaxy S and was surfing via 3G. speedtest.net confirms. Only had it in his phone about 10 minutes or so. Therefore, can't confirm that it will work long term. Does T-Mobile do IMEI sweeps? Or maybe they haven't banned this one yet?

    I'd wait an entire billing cycle to be sure, but so far this is good. Keep us posted please :-)

    Hi - is T-Zones and the web2go feature the same? Only difference being price?

    I am planning on buying a unlocked iphone 3g (8GB) to use on the T-mobile network, was wondering if i can maximize the value using the web2go $10 plan.

    I am 5 year customer with auto-pay, not sure if they'll give me T-zones, as my contract got renewed recently till 2012.

    Thanks

    Yes $10 plan works with iPhone. Yes, you probably won't be able to get T-zones. But they do have a preferred data plan for $5 (it's the same as $10 plan but for long term customers.) Call retentions department and see if they'll add that for you.

    Will the $10 plan work with a Blackberry Bold? I know the push BB e-mail and its services won't work, but what about Internet and like Gmail/etc. Thanks

    I believe 3rd party apps will work on T-Zones.

    This is good news!! Lets see if more people chime in. I've been using t-zones with my HD2 since it came out and works flawlessly.

    Don't get your hopes up. It's android and it's T-mobile branded, so you will probably get the text message to upgrade your data sooner or later. WM phones aren't blocked for whatever reason.

    Hi - I tried getting T-zones but they offered a $5 web2go plan, she asked me which phone I have, told her some Nokia.

    She added the plan, saw my bill go up $5 online, but don't see the service listed.

    I have Blackberry Bold though, tried using Opera but doesn't work, I had the WAN as epc.tmobile.com and the wap.voicestream.com - but no go on either it seems.

    I wanted to ask if anyone know how to get it work.

    I ordered a iphone 3g, I hope it works once it arrives.

    Thanks

    Try using internet2.voicestream.com

    And yes, the preferred $5 plan sometimes doesn't show up online.
