Nexus One - t-zone on wap.voicestream.com without any proxy

Stopped working in Houston Tuesday morning. (tried all the usual APNs and proxy)
Traveled to Detroit for a trip this afternoon and started working when turned on after landing at the airport.

Wondering if it'll still work when I get back to Houston tomorrow morning...

Every month or two another group of tzones reports that their nexus one stopped working at the same time. Apparently tmobile is blocking sets of them occasionally instead of all at once.

Got a Gnex today, so far running smooth on T-Zones here in CA. That sucks that they are blocking the N1 but I'd say its time to upgrade to a new phone anyway and u can still get some decent resale value on your old N1's to offset the cost.

My nexus one is down on t-zones (SF bay area). I'll just leave data unchecked until I wake up sometime tomorrow morning and pray it works then, if it does work, then i'll post back here.

Yet another N1 is dead here in CA. So with N1 gone, what is your plan? Buy GN and pray t-zones will continue to work on it? Or something else? Can I use monthly4G plan with 2GB limit with N1? Can I teether or is tethering blocked on prepaid?

No need to pray as the Galaxy Nexus will work. Even if T-mobile carries it, I doubt they will block access to it. The international HTC Sensation was out before the T-mobile Sensation was sold, and yet the international Z710e still works fine and dandy.

The Nexus One will work on any T-mobile as long as it's not t-zones or web2go

Before you begin, write your IMEI number down somewhere.

THIS PROCESS WILL DELETE YOUR IMEI. To the best of my knowledge, it can only be restored at a service center, and I don't know if they will even do it. This could brick your phone for all I know, but it worked on mine.

That being said, this will allow you to use any data plan with the T-Mo SGII (t989). Works perfect with mine, which previously could not access data.

To all N1 users, use this as an excuse to get a new phone. The galaxy nexus is an awesome device. I've been using it for 2 mons and am satisfied. My brother has international sensation, that's alright too but I think the galaxy nexus is the way to go unless you get a note or skyrocket

Yes, you can use that plan. And there will be no tethering blocks for the Nexus One.

my nexus one works (bay area, ca) but my housemate who lives several feet down who has the exact same set up (except I forgot to ask him what APN hes using) isnt working.

I just bought a Galaxy Nexus anyways but if tzones stops working for N1, does that mean it wont work for my galaxy nexus which I bought for 450 dollars -_-.
