I just had success of having the retentions department add T-zones to one of my lines. He also replaced two lines that had the $5 phone first web with $5.99 T-zones. At first he said he couldnt add the T-zones but since I had it on one of my lines I said I prefer the t-zones over the phone first web because it works better. He then proceeds and says " let me see if the system will let me add t-zones " then bam he said you're all set to go. Most reps are stingy with the T-zones. Just try a different rep if you're unsuccessful.

For those who want a nice older android phone that works well with tzone/web2go:

Just want to let you guys know that the HD2 running on latest dorimanx gingerbread rom is working very fast and smooth (even with 180+ apps). No problems. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1166948

I was using NexusHD2 ICS rom for awhile. It worked great at first but then I started getting all sorts of problems. (Touchscreen not working for 12 secs after wake, lcd wouldnt wake after screen off requiring a reboot, extreme laggyness after more apps were installed) It became very unreliable for daily use so I had to flash back to gingerbread.

Another tip I'd like to share is that if your phone starts lagging after a few months. Try deleting your old text messages and just keep a month's worth of text message at most. I use this app sms backup and restore to back up all my text messages. Then I would delete all text messages from the phone. And then there's an option to restore from any date you pick. (I chose to restore a month back) This worked wonders for me. I think this trick not only apply to HD2 but all other android phones as well.

Lumia 710 on prepaid @ Amazon for $249.99 w/ free ship and no tax for most. Excellent deal for a great phone that works on T-Zones/Web2Go WITH WiFi hotspot since the latest software updates. Comes with an unused micro SIM and you can transfer your service to it online which will not touch your plan or services.

I ordered one as a backup. I have the S III on my line with preferred Android data but I have a Radar 4G because I like Windows Phone 7.5; I decided on the Lumia just because it has Nokia Drive but mostly since it uses a microSIM which will be easier now that I have to use one for my S III. Time to unload my Radar 4G.

I have another line on my plan with the Lumia and several family members on it as well, they all love it. Mostly because they're cheap and they either have T-Zones or Web2Go
Castrol EDGE 5W-30 is my drug of choice.

    Toyota | moving forward

    Primary: Galaxy Note II & iPhone 5 (AWS): 5 lines, 1x $15 4.5GB data, 3x $2.99 T-Zones (truly unlimited 4G data), myFaves, corp discount + $10/mo loyalty discount = $88/mo tax inclusive
Secondary: iPhone 3GS: Airvoice Wireless, Samsung Fascinate & HTC Trophy: Page Plus

It really depends on the ROM your running. The early ones definitely were ROUGH on the battery, just having the screen on would drain it. They've gotten a LOT better now though, Finally found an ICS rom that my Crackle TV app works on, KING KANG AOKP rom, battery life is FANTASTIC, but I don't tempt fate, I have a charger in the car, one at work and several at the house, and I pretty much keep it at max. Had a dr's appt today watched Netflix and did a lil browsing, and it barely budged if at all. I think I'm running the ICS blaze modem. Hopefully with Tmob's official release of the Note, we'll see even better Roms and Modems that can be flashed onto the I717. The only reason I didn't wait for the Tmob release is that it will probably be IMEI locked, and Tzones not working = me not buying the device. If the N-7000(Euro Note) would've gotten cracked/made to work on Tmob 3/4g, I'd have gotten that one, as it's the better device.

If the Note 2 comes out in the fall like they're hinting, and the Euro version is confirmed to work with Tzones, then I'll put my Note up for sale and try to get one of those.

I got a real good deal on a Nokia C7-00 (The T-Mobile Astound). From reviewing the T-mobile wiki on the $5.99 T-Zones Data plan its compatible. Is anyone currently using this plan on this phone? I replaced a blackberry phone with this phone and I can't really complain other than my old blackberry run's circles on this phone when it comes to email. BB push email has no real competitors from my experience.

I have an old data plan that costs me $20/ month. I'm going to try and see if I can get T-mobile to replace my old plan with the $5.99 T-Zones Data plan. I know its a long shot but I'm out of contract. As a side note, If I give up my $20 data plan that is no longer available (assuming I get the T-Zones plan) any chance I can revert back to it in the future? I'm kinda holding out on getting a BB 10 if RIM survives... Just trying to find out what happens when you trade data plans the way I'm thinking about it. I don't mind paying $20 a month, but with seriously weak push email on my Astound, I don't see how its worth it/ justified.

Purchased directly through T-Mobile. Windows phones don't need to be unlocked/unbranded to work with T-Zones or Web2Go.

Yes, the Astound works fine on T-Zones/Web2Go. I have a family member on it. I bought it for $99 refurb'd direct from T-Mo earlier this year. What data plan are you using now? The $20 BIS plan? You can't get it back but you can get preferred BlackBerry web no problem for the same price.

Honestly - I don't care for the Astound and definitely wouldn't rely on it for my email. Windows Phone 7.5 and Android would be better. I have BIS on an old BlackBerry 9700 and would LOVE for it to be my main phone as email is perfect..but BB got left in the dust for everything else. I use it for BBM with my gf and it has my eBay email hooked up so I know when my items sell.

Watch out Sony Xperia GX as it has both PCS and AWS HSPA.

Do you mean WiFi calling, or WiFi data?
T-Mobile. Connecting you when you need it most... disconnecting you when you need to connect with God's beautiful creation! Service is great in cities and highways, but in rural areas they leave you with just your surroundings. I encourage you to get T-Mobile, disconnect for a while!

I am glad that God is not like cell phone coverage. He does not hide behind mountains or loose us down long windy roads. The Lord levels mountains, and He makes our paths straight!
