i asked for preferred everytime...
umm...except you started this thread:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...es-on-iphone-4
and asked this question:
It's a good phone, as long as you're not one of those who NEED a million apps on Android just to say you have them. Do the software update via Zune on your computer though, it definitely made a difference (for the better) on our Lumias in the family.
I recently traveled to an area that was EDGE only. You have no idea how spoiled I felt being back home with 4G. Yelp felt like it took forever to load when we were looking for somewhere to eat, Googling seemed slowww, and I definitely couldn't tether to my phone like I do back home.
Anyway, enjoy the Lumia! It'll be even better once your area gets 4G because the Lumia will support tethering to your computer for free and with T-Zones, your data is unlimited.
Castrol EDGE 5W-30 is my drug of choice.
Toyota | moving forward
Primary: Galaxy Note II & iPhone 5 (AWS): 5 lines, 1x $15 4.5GB data, 3x $2.99 T-Zones (truly unlimited 4G data), myFaves, corp discount + $10/mo loyalty discount = $88/mo tax inclusive
Secondary: iPhone 3GS: Airvoice Wireless, Samsung Fascinate & HTC Trophy: Page Plus
Anyone read or hear anything about using the international version of the Tmobile Galaxy Note? Thanks.
He (Antenna) is correct. Bobbyburns if your called 20 sometimes and it's not working and your plan won't allow it yet give it some time or months in between call. I thought you had the right plan to add the tzones.
As i said before when i tell people the plan i have they laugh and wonder why t-mobile won't do this family plan any more. it's because it's so cheap and the new plans are so much more expense. well it makes them more money for t-mobile. which they need.

Hi all,
I have tmobile preferred web plan, was thinking of upgrading the phone hd2 to atrix HD, but with Atrix HD here are my questions,
1. Looks like it accept only micro SIM, where do i get it? is it free?
2. It has non removable battery is there any disadvantage (obiviously u cant change battery other than that)? infuture battery goes bad or upgrade battery how it works.
3. Is there any chance the TMOBILE will also block these ATT phones? is any other phone got blocked already?
4. anyone knows how to unlock Atrix HD phone free or pay on web?!
Will this work?
Looking to change my grandfathered 5 line family plan to a value plan. We have 3 tzones add on's, can we keep these if we switch to the value plan? Would like to add 2 $10 (2Gb plans) to the other 2 lines so everyone has data.
Currently 1000 mins, family text, 3 phones with data $150/month
line 1: talk text tzones
line 2: talk text tzones
line 3: talk text tzones
line 4: talk text
line 5: talk text
Planning on:
Value plan 1000 mins, unlimited text, data for all $110/month
line 1: talk text tzones
line 2: talk text tzones
line 3: talk text tzones
line 4: talk text 2gb plan
line 5: talk text 2gb plan
If possible, should I do this via phone, web, or in store? We don't need new phones since we already have tzones capable phones for the 3 lines.
Ugh, just tried to do this online, but when I add the value plan to my cart, it says it's incompatible with the Tzones plan
Going to try and call them up now.
1) call retentions, ask to change grandfathered talk/text plan to value plan WITHOUT touching our data
2) Add 2Gb plan to the 2 lines without data.

They can't do that. Tzones isn't compatible. If you go to Value plan, you'll have to change to one of the Value data plans.
T-Mobile offers the lower prices so they can get customers to get rid of the unlimited tzones, lose their device susbidy they get every 22 months and lock them in to a 2 year contract.
If you decide to stay with your current plan, it's possible that T-Mobile would add tzones onto the other lines that don't yet have it.
1. You can buy a SIM cutter from ebay and keep your current SIM. T-Mobile stores charge for the micro SIM though some have reported getting a replacement for free.
2. If the battery is non removable, you'd have to send it away to get the battery replaced.
3. There's always a chance T-Mobile would block the phone, but it's unlikely that they would bother with it as so few people would use that model.
I'm wondering if a Verizon SGS3 will work with tzones, even maybe one with a bad ESN. There is a guide on XDA to turn this phone into a world phone and use GSM sim cards. Anybody try this or think it might work?
