Blackberry Camera Problems... (freezing, black box)

**Please note that I have searched and am aware that their are other similar posts, but none of the posts include the extra symptoms I am having.

I have an 8320, the camera on it doesnt like to work too well.
Sometimes I get the "the camera could not start, please close other programs error"
Sometimes it starts to open, but instead of seeing what you're going to take a picture of, the square in the middle stays black.
When this happens it makes my phone very slow, usually I will exit the frozen camera, and while the camera frame disappears, the middle of the screen remails a black square. So I can see my icons on the outside but the middle of the screen remains black no matter what application I open or close.
I usually have to pull the battery before I can use the phone again normaly.

I just did a software upgrade to fix the problem, with no luck.
I have tried the "press on the camera" fix, the "clear you internet settings" fix, the "pull the battery with the phone on" fix and the "software upgrade fix"

Since the update I got the video camera app, and I notice that if I start the regular camera, wait for it to unfreeze, then open the video camera... both video and normal camera work.
However if I start video camera first, it freezes the phone completely...


It seems to be acting a little too oddly for it to be a hardware problem, but I'm no expert.. anyone got anything on this?

It's your phone the same problem with the BB Storm when video taping longer than 1min. it freezes and a battery pull is necessary Verizon rep. stated a bad batch of phones were released, and sent out a new BB Storm and problem solved (note: three BB Storm returns for the same problem) maybe thats what you need to do. I hope this helps

It also could be a software issue.
