Is there a comparison of 3G speed performance before/after flashing to CB?

Understood. As I look over the original customize file for the TM-506, it appears this may be the section which sets up the syncing. This section is found in the registry part of the file:Originally Posted by Scottish Skyeandce

S D,
I could download the program into the phone and it works good however I can't or I don't know how to download the maps. its there a special way to do this?
I have the selections yahoo maps, windows live locals, ask.com and open street map. I click downloads to download the program which it works good, but can't see maps.
Also don't have the applitation of text messages like before, it's the a way to install it again?
this thread has turned my TM506 from a meh backup phone to something I can actually use! Thanks
Couple of small questions that would help make it even better:
- any way to upgrade to Google Maps to a later version and stuff have GPS support (I really want the transit options from later versions!)
- Any way to replace the PlayNow icon (top left on the home screen) with something else ... I just get a "not supported in your region" message so it's taking up space
- any way to update the Opera Mini to the later version (US server support)
- Can I add AmazeGPS to the Locations menu (or replace PlayNow with it)?
and finally, just for fun...
- any good games? I'm after things like Chuzzle, Bejewelled and Solitaire![]()
I downloaded A2UPLOAD from the link on the first post and extracted it-Norton AV said it was a Trojan Horse and blocked it.
Is it really a Trojan or is Norton overly agressive?
There have been reports of a2upload triggering antivirus software warnings. However, numerous people have posted to this forum that the software works exactly as intended with no side effects.Originally Posted by wazmo
Yep. Disable your antivirus and unzip it again. Mine had troubles with it, too.Originally Posted by jet1000
I followed this thread instructions with success to get the Cin Bell setup, and then I did it again according to http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...&postcount=146 wiki article. I have one problem and a question.
First, I have tmobile web (i.e. the cheap one), and I don't seem to be getting an internet connection. Is there some additional setup I need to do? Opera Mini, etc. say that I don't have a data connection.
Secondly, I would love to do this to my kid's TM506, they'd be thrilled with the FM radio, but I think they would like to keep the familiar "myFaves" display. Is there any way to get the myFaves display back? Or something similar?
