I solved my #1 by performing a Master Reset from the phone's menu.
Can Someone Help Me To How To Save Mgmaps On My Memory Card ?
Thankx
Go into your applications menu. Highlight Opera Mini and select Options. Go to Internet Settings, Connect Using, T-Mobile GPRS. See if that connects.Originally Posted by butzodaddy
If you don't see T-Mobile GPRS in the list then your data settings got erased and will have to be re-installed.
And all looks OK-except...
It looks like when I fire up Opera 4, I can't use T9 for some reason. I also noticed that when I tether and use internet2.voicestream.com and run Speedtest it blocks the upload test.
I'm getting about ~700-900 kbps in St. Paul.
Went through the TM506 debranding step 1, tried to do step 2, but SEUS says I have the current software and does not give me any option to "continue anyway", just exit or do another phone. (using latest SEUS downloaded from SE website. Tried an older version, but it would not run, said it was out of date, and I needed a newer version.)
Advice please
Use this newer debranding Wiki, it works great.Originally Posted by ngenius

Third attempt has failed.Originally Posted by TeeJay3800
2. Run A2Uploader and click the FileSystem Tool button
3. Hold down 2 on the phone and plug in the USB cable
4. Release the button when you see some activity on the left side of the A2Uploader window
I never see any "activity on the left side" then the computer tries to recognize it and phone turns on so I stop the process as this part is no where mentioned.

Tried it a 8th time,
Phone turns on again
All the while holding down "number 2" button
Phone displays:
Do not remove the USB cable until you have exited the application on your PC.

Hey the new version of the seus update service doesn't show continue anyway, does anyone have the older version i can download? I already did mine a long time ago but now i'm doing it for a friend and cant upload the cincy software. Thanx
ok nevermind, got it figured out had to change the upgrade-xml file, sorry.
Great guide, but I still somehow messed something up I think. I did everything in this guide exactly as it says but it wont work for me..
I go though step 1 just fine, then when i get too step 2, part 5, when SEUS finish checking my fw it saids
"Your phone already hads the latest software (R3DA030)" and not
"Latest software is already installed! TM506 AMERICA-BAND1-4 CDF1218-2095"
it lets me re-install it but i have tried that and it really dosent do anything different. I've tried with a few different CDA numbers and still no luck, I've also tried the old wiki tut, again no luck either. Can someone tell me what I did wrong if anything and what i need to do to get on the Cincinnati Bell firmware
I think the America Band is the generic version. Why are you trying to replace it the Cinn Bell firmware?
Mostly cause I wanna try out the radio player.. if it works good it would be a nice little add-on. Been wanting to try the radio player since i got the phone. Was one of the reasons i picked this phone over another one.. was a bit disappointed when i got the phone and found out it was removed from the firmwareOriginally Posted by jet1000
Well the generic America Band has the FM Radio on the Entertainment menu of the phone.Originally Posted by R3SiD3NTEViL
If you don't see the radio there, go into the Service menu by typing:
Right * Left Left * Left * to open the service menu. In Service Info -> Software Info, scroll down to Customization,
What is the CDA# under Customization? Generic firmware is: 1217-0527
ok yeah i just checked and i do have the generic firmware..Originally Posted by jet1000
However when I goto the Entertainment tab I dont have the player.. wtf!
I'll try a re-install right now.. will update after i do like my 10th re-install. lol
UPDATE
... I did the re-install again and I got the raido player nowcool
Thanks for ur help/ fast reply Jet1000.
