    Razr V3C Camera/Video issues

I bought a Razr V3C off of eBay.com and the people we bought it from put full Metro Razr software on the phone. Everything seems to work fine except the camera and video recorder. When I click camera it says "Busy. Try again later". And when I click video recorder it says "System Error please try again". Any ideas whats wrong? And I can tell the software is a little outdated because when I power the phone on it says MetroPCS - Permission to speak freely. That's their old slogan their new one is MetroPCS - Unlimit yourself. So is it possible to completely update the software?

PS. We haven't flashed the phones to metro yet. We need to flash them because the ESN's aren't actual MetroPCS ESN's supposedly. Do you think that the flashing process will go wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

I've noticed that problem is caused by a bad camera module. It's a hardware issue.

So should I sent it back and have them repair it? They said to sent it back if the problem persists.

Yes, unless you want to purchase the part and replace it, which I wouldn't suggest.

for future reference you could probably find local tech guys right off of craigslist.org and it probably wont cost that much to have them do the work instead going through the hassle of sending it back

If they're going to pay for shipping, why should he have to payout to have a working phone, when they guaranteed him a working phone? Also, the cost of the part alone is $18.99.
