1) Download BAF MSL Grabber and run it on your PPC to get your MSL:

3) Click View Info and select NAM Settings. Set your MDN to your phone #, set MIN2 to your MIN area code, and MIN1 to your 7 digit MIN.
4) Click Home SID/NID and enter your SID and set NID to 65535.
5) Click PRL and then Update PRL and then Menu and Edit and load your PRL
6) Click Security and set HDR AUTH and PPP UserID to MDN@mycricket.com set HDR PASSWORD and PPP PASSWORD to cricket
7) Click M.I.P. Setting and set MIP Mode to Simple IP Only
8) Click Menu, OK, and click OK to reset your device.
9) Load CDMA Workshop or QPST and change your MSL/SPC to 000000.
10) Install a HardSPL to unlock your phone and allow non-carrier ROMs to be flashed. Here's a link to HardSPL for the Touch PRo

11) Reboot and test all your settings to make sure voice, text, wap all work on your device after you have configured them.
This is a simple walk through for the Sprint Touch Pro. Please search before you have post questions because almost all your answers are in this forum already so I didn't feel like repeating them.

if you're on vista you need special HTC drivers.
well i guess the htc support page doesn't have the drivers, doesn't even have a ppc6800 listed
google for it man![]()
isnt there a .cab that sets up most of the settings
how do i set up cdma workshop like what port and such
dude, please try before you ask. there are tons and tons of posts here about how to connect to your device via CDMA Workshop.
and there is no cab that sets EPST items and SPC.
the only way i got to connect to qpst was to put the phone in i think is diag mode ##3424# and iv read alot in 3 days and have not seen it anywhereOriginally Posted by Isriam
i told you put the phone in ##DIAG# and connect to your PC. if you have activesync installed it will install the drivers for you. If you're on vista, you must download the drivers manually and install them.

Do I have to extract it first? Where does the file have to be placed if I dont have a memory card? Any specif way to run it?
it should be an exe or a cab and you run it on your device. if its zip you unzip it then run it on your device. i didn't make the program and i've never used itothers have said they use it and it works well.
no you didnt say anything about how to put the phone in to diag mode on this pageOriginally Posted by Isriam
Sorry I have explained it in detail a few times in this forum so it gets redundant![]()
