I think Sprint had done the same in the US so I am hoping that Telus will follow suit but who knows. guess we will find out soone enough.

Have been reading that Bell has enabled MMS now for the storm and some of its other phones as well and although they seem to be still working out a few kinks at least they have the option now. Just wondered what peoples thoughts are on this if Telus will follow suit now or still ignore the fact that people want this option!

Well then, either people didnt know about it or they just sent the service books for the storm as people seem to be just realizing that they can MMS with the storm on bell now. So possibly they could on the other devices but not the storm and now they can on all of them?
telus appears to be the only carrier to block mms on smartphones
Can someone explain to me what MMS is?

I've complained and complained about this for years...I don't understand why they can't just try to overcome the "network" issue tech support claims is holding them back from offering mms on the smartphones. Who knows.

i could mms on my mikes phone...i dont see why the smart phone is any different
I think what this ultimately comes down to is mass incompetence at Telus. There is no other possible explanation.
