MetroPCS uses CDMA technology while the iPhone is a GSM device. The iPhone will not work for MetroPCS, just as it will not work for Verizon or Sprint.

Actually, it will work. I read an article online that Metro PCS would allow you to use any phone with there service, so I went down there to ask. The lady said I could use any phone, including the iphone, but some of the features would not work. (GPS, Web, E-mail, Everything that makes the iphone cool, etc.)
