    D905i SMS HELP!!!!!

    Does anyone know why I can't enter Japanese in SMS's?... The option to change to katana/hiragana is greyed out.. even after I set the phone to Japanese. There's also no setting to change input to japanese... all greyed out!! Someone help!?? Thanks!

    You probably need to adjust your SMS character selection from 160 characters to 70 characters. If it's set to 160 characters you can only input English. But if you jack it down to 70 characters you can mix kana with english.

    yeah, I tried doing that, but was still greyed out...

    but for some reason I tried again this morning.. and was able to change to japanese.. weird
