    K770i Screen Problem.

So my friend cracked his LCD screen on his K770i, so we just got a new one and replaced it. Oddly, the image that shows up on the K770i is distorted, all crazy and we can't actually make out anything. Anyone know any ideas as to any other possible problems? Thanks.

How did the LCD get cracked?

Did anything happen between the LCD getting cracked, to the time when the screen was actually replaced?

Thanks for sharing this problem with us. first of all can you tell me that either you cell phone is under warranty of sony erricsson if yes then you have to claim for that before doing any experiments by yourself and if not then you have to contact a professional to repair it properly because I think there is some problem with the board that attached to LCD so its better to contact some one to fix it out. Thanks.

The problem is probably the LCD. Pretty much *all* lcd's you buy on ebay are cheap non-oem chinese knock-offs. The viewing angle sucks on ALL of them, and the backlight/brightness is never even close or as good as oem. I'd buy another phone. (Just buy another se with the same lcd, but maybe has bricked firmware or something..)
