Tonight i couldn't make a call. So after calling everyone on my contact list and getting the same message. I called Boost Mobile Customer Service and after i spoke with an agent she told me basically there are "improvements" to the network and that they hope it will not last into tomorrow. WTF kind of a improvement takes ALL NIGHT AND ALL DAY. It's ridiculous. What if i needed to call 911 (which i did call and got the same message)? YET i can send and receive text messages. And they seem to be UBER fast. Like faster than usual. If that's the improvement then SWEET! But considering Boost's past with the various posts on here...i'll not hold my breath, might die first before it happens.

Consider the following.
A cell phone network, consists of hundreds of data servers in racks in a data center, with hundreds of users and callers and variables.
If they are making a nation wide improvement, it will take a little time to process all the data.
All I can say is, lets hope by tomorrow, our phones work flawlessly.

..Well I just tried calling at 12:13am (EST) and it worked. I hope when I wake up tomorrow morning everything is working as normal. Any idea what these improvements might be?
No idea, but hopefully capacity and texting improvementsOriginally Posted by techdude20078

Well, the national outage finally hit me. It started around 1pm this afternoon. I called tech support and after sitting on the phone with them for about 30 minutes i was told that there was an outage in my area and that boost was working to resolve it and I was given a $5 credit on my account for my trouble. I hope they get this resolved soon.
Obviously some sweeping upgrades or repairs happening. Let us know when you're back up, and how your texting is after the downtime. I have a feeling they're related (just speculation, however).
