Quick Question. When going to hook the W350 before debranding, I know you press and hold the "C" button then plug it it. The only problem is the "C" button is the power button also, and it turns the phone on before it connects (I have tried it several different ways, holding the button till after it turns on, pushing and plugging it in real fast, etc).
Any trick that I don't know about? I have done 2 W810i's, a W300i and a Z310 before and have not had this issue. I searched but did not see anything here about it.
It is a brand new AT&T version BTW.
edit: you press the "2" key instead of the "C" key.

Thanks. I did it with the 2 key.
I just can't stand a branded phone (even though this is my mom's).
what are the advantages to debranding the w350 specifically?
What will I gain?
phone should be a bit smoother, i've found the att branding on most of their phones just laggier than unbranded, more options for different languages. I believe you also remove the att ringtone restrictions too
