Verizon LG Default Ringtones

I recently got a new phone, but it doesn't have the default text message noise that I like. I wish I could describe it to you all, but in the VX8100 it is "Ringtone 6" and in the Motorola KRZR, it is New Message.mp3 (I think). It used to be on every LG, but not anymore, I guess. Either that or the Chocolate is just devoid of it. I've tried using QPST to grab the ringtone via USB off of the KRZR, but whenever I download it, it comes up as a 0-byte file and is basically unusable. If anyone knows about the ringtone that I am talking about, I'd greatly appreciate it if I could have it! I can't stand the low-beeps noise.

I don't have my 8100 with me, so I can't remember what tone you're talking about.. and to further complicate matters, I see all the links to the 8100 firmware bin on humpa's page are dead.. so he's all the mid and wav content from the 8300 firmware, since it should be pretty similar.

If you can find me a working link to the 8100 firmware, I'd be happy to dump that one also

Does anyone have the ringtones for the VX8550 or the VX8350? I like one of the ringers on it but isn't on the newer phones. Thanks

Thanks for posting! Ringtone 7 and Ringtone 8 are my favorites, and by the looks of it, Ringtone 7 is everyone else's favorite, too!

No need for any response to my last question regarding Ringtone 8 on the LG VX8100. I found out through a back-door method, which mhe77 was kind enough to provide earlier in this thread, that the ringtone is called "Piano Sonata". I was then able to download it and put it on my LG Chocolate Touch, which was the whole reason for my asking the question in the first place.

Those 4Shared.com links were very helpful! Is there one for the LG EnV2? I recently upgraded my phone. There are a few sounds and ringtones that did not carry over to the EnV3, and Ringtone 15 in particular is very desired.
