Those are some good friends tman. People who steal iPods have a warm place in hell waiting for them. It's so much more than the replacement cost. It's all the work you put into tagging songs and album artwork, etc...bastards.

Yeah, no kidding. It sucks. Plus it was a gift, and i felt HORRIBLE about it. She did however understand, and was glad i did everything i could (police report, asked around, that sort of thing)

Well, here's what it looks like now (not as impressive as the stock image I posted earlier, I must admit):

It'll be a few months before I can start making changes. I'm getting married in October, so I need to save some money. I think my first "improvement" will be an aftermarket sunroof, and maybe some new rims (I've got my eyes on some 18" Volvo rims). I like these:

Long story short,
My ipod touch(1st gen) and ipod cable got stolen from my dorm room, and i was pretty bummed. My girlfriend had gotten it for me for my birthday, and i used that thing ALL THE TIME.

Anyway, 4 of my best friends (including my girlfriend) and my parents got together and bought me a new (2nd gen) ipod touch.

Can anyone say best friends in the world? I think so! I fricking LOVE THEM!

I considered that - it's almost all black now, except for the rims, the chrome accents and the interior (which is a charcoal gray). I often plan on one thing, then do something completely different on a whim so we'll see what happens.

Good friends (and a good woman) are worth their weight in gold.

I've actually been thinking about getting an iPod Touch. Even though I am with AT&T, I work from home and can't justify the intense data cost.

The wifi of the Touch intrigues me, I could get the mail or whatever from anywhere in the house, or anywhere with free wifi (including my in-laws). Plus all the proggies they have over at the Application store on iTunes.

I have to look into this more.

What memory size did you get for the first one and it's replacement?
