Hawaii coverage now... in most areas

Hello just so you all know we now have partnership agreements in Hawaii. It does not cover Honolulu yet though per the maps...

But in other islands it looks like we are good to go....

The service is most likely provided by Mobi PCS a MetroPCS like company in Hawaii.

That is so cool. As I always said, Metro Pcs, Will EVENTUALLY, go Nationwide and be the #1 Cellphone Company Provider. Sooner or later, Metro Pcs, will have better phones, better coverage, better reception and will top all other cellphone companies, UNLESS companies like Verizon, ATT, Tmobile and Sprint, step to the plate and lower their rate plans.

Look to Tmo.. you want 600 minutes with myfaves thats $49.99 plus unlimited text thats $14.99 with taxes your looking at $77-80 a month for 1 line
Metro Pcs. The highest plan is $50 plus taxes will go to $59 and includes all that plus internet, and then some....

Metro Pcs, YOU ARE DOING IT!!!!

I noticed that MetroPCS is expanding in so many areas that soon it will be like a nationwide carrier. They will be the next Verizon! Looking forward to coverage everywhere Metro!!

They should be... They should improve their weak areas. Hopefully they will in the future. Those who are having problems should call Metro and let them know of the issue and location.

Well, I wish I had Metro here where I live. But it makes sense for them not to - after all it is METROpolitan PCS isn't it? It doesn't do them profit if they put coverage out in the middle of nowhere

MetroPCS does not give free calling to HI/AK

    I don't understand though.

Say you are in Hawaii using the service for free on the 45/50 plans..you can't call another 808 number even one next door without extra cost, but you can call mainland for free?

This is confusing. I would have thought the agreement with the local PCS carrier for free roaming coverage would have included voip call termination for 808 calls made to HI for MetroPCS users.

This is a good point. Maybe we will be able to call all 50 states soon.
